In memoriam…

Few days ago one of the greatest polish composers passed away. Despite 86 years he still were active composer and director, his death catch us all and it is irreparable loss for whole world of music, not only classical.

Thinking about Professor Penderecki I remember not only so many concerts with his music in Poland and abroad but also many humorous talks and situations during breaks and recording sessions.

During jubilee gala of orchestra Sinfonietta Cracovia, in November 2019, I had great pleasure to make polish premiere of “Music for recorders, marimba, percussion and strings”. Here it is.
